Glad we are a late release country

Published by Karlin at 9:43 pm under Apple

The perfect blog post, from John Murrell, GMSV:

If I were a serious Apple fanboy, I’d have been parked in front of my monitor this morning, all my i-gadgets sitting around me like dolls at a tea party, breathlessly lapping up every liveblogged news nugget as it emerged from Apple’s special event. I would have oooh’d at the new iPod Touch, a music player equipped with Wi-Fi, Web browser and the same delicious touch screen as the iPhone. I would have aww’d at the stubby Nano with its new video screen. I’d have ehhh’d at the iPod Classic, beefed up with more storage, and the iPod Shuffle, given some new colors. And I would have been on the edge of my seat as Steve Jobs got to the end of the show and that very last revelation that he always tacks on. And I would have heard him say that the top-line iPhone I’d bought just weeks ago for $600 would now go for $200 less. And I’d be steamed. Really steamed. “Where’s my frickin’ rebate, Steve?” steamed. Which is why I’m glad I’m not a serious Apple fanboy.
